May 10

While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

What a great response this morning to the beginning of our Good Works series!  Lots of interest in Appalachia (after Jenn's story who would't be interested!)  A few technical issues at both locations didn't stop God's Spirit from being active.  Discover U and Starting Point classes were filled with new people signing up as late as last night.  It's so encouraging to see people taking next steps in their faith!  Thanks for being a part of the team that makes it possible.

Please share your experiences in the comments section below so that we can all rejoice together!

  1. Elizabeth's Call to Worship was moving and a great way to start the service! I loved the new song and Jenn and Reid were really used by God to speak about how much He cares for His people! Technical glitches cannot stop the Holy Spirit! (Though we don't intend on testing that theory again anytime soon )

  2. I loved Elizabeth's prayer for the moms. She couldn't have read it more perfectly, and I know it blessed many people.

  3. I had a lot of women approach me after all services and there was talk on FB about the Mother's Day reflection. Great choice, service planning peeps! It struck a chord, for sure. Thank you, Mary and Reid, for helping with my copy crisis! (women were asking for copies of the prayer) I should be forever banned from the copier! Any way, great service-Elizabeth
